A NEW ALLIANCE FOR: THE U.S., THE U.K.,
AND THE UNITED NATIONS
based on Isaiah 62

Ketuba
December marks the alliance between Great Britain and the United States and became known as “The United Nations.” The goal was to stand together against their enemies during WWII and to protect and defend one another.
The Lord has put on my heart that a new alliance needs to be formed on this anniversary between the United Nations. God raised up these nations not just to defeat the Nazi’s but to preserve Israel and their inheritance. This alliance is of a higher level. It is the joining of nations to seek God for the restoration of the destinies of Israel which directly affect our nations.  It is seeking God’s blessings to bring about a new revelation of Himself where He has been forgotten by many and ignored by millions.
In Israel marriage took place under a canopy called a “Chuppah.” It was used like a prayer shawl. It was held over the heads of the couple standing before the priest for marriage. It was a symbol of God’s covering and blessing on their marriage. The Jewish marriage contract is called a “Ketuba” and was read at the wedding under the canopy to seal the couple being joining together before God. Most of what this contract specified was the obligations of the man to his wife. The wife is allowed to respond to his pledge. The document was signed by the Rabbi and witnesses. A New Testament application of a canopy covering being used over God’s people can be seen in I John 2:2: “And He (Christ) Himself is the propitiation (mercy seat covering) for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” We need to seek God together for His blessings on our nations and the restoration of His purposes.
A KETUBA MARRIAGE CONTRACT FROM THE LORD
 
(Note: I am not an expert on the Jewish Marriage contract. I am using what God gave me.)
 
God’s Promise - I received this promise while in prayer:
 
“I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. As I swore unto them and promised to protect, provide, and prosper them under My covenant, so I will bless those nations who purpose to bless Israel. If the nations of the earth will come together in agreement before My face in repentance for the purpose of blessing Israel, this is what I will d., ‘I will call your land Beulah (married). Your sons shall marry the land (Israel). (Isaiah 62:4). Your intercessors will cry out to Me day and night and I will cover you with My canopy (chuppa) so that your nations become a praise in the earth. (Isaiah 62:7) Other nations will come to stand under this marriage canopy and be blessed. I will hear from heaven and heal your lands. In what you purpose to bless do not forget to bless My first born Israel.” The Lord continues, “Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples." (Isaiah 62:10)
 
God’s  Blessing: “Indeed the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the world: ‘Say to the daughter of Zion, Surely your salvation is coming; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His works before Him. The Redeemed of the Lord and you shall be called Sought Out, A City (nations) not forsaken.'” (Isaiah 62:11,12)
 
The Brides response to receive this Marriage Covenant and to stand under the Lord’s Chuppa (Canopy): This is prayed individually as part of standing with a corporate agreement.
 
“Father, this day we turn our hearts towards You as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for You to bless the nation of Israel. As a part of those who desire to see Your covering of mercy over Israel, we ask that You restore and renew Your destiny for Israel and those nations who enter into this agreement to bless her. We will join others in declaring Your word day and night in the gates of Israel and in the gates of our cities until You make Israel and our nations a praise in the earth. We declare that Your righteousness and justice will cover the land. We commit ourselves to pray for all in authority so Your ‘chuppah covering’ is over all of our society. We receive Your Mercy Covering for Israel and our nations.(period) We ask for Your forgiveness for what has been done to defile the land and that which offends You. Help us address these issues. We stand in agreement that our governments rest upon the Messiah’s shoulders. And His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace in our nations. Of the increase of His government in Israel and in the nations who bless her there will be no end. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah  9:6,7)
